PSA Mood Board/Previz

It is time to make another PSA. For this project, I want to lean more towards the humor and satire side. The PSA will be about "how to care for your introvert," meant to be a spoof of the "how to care for your pet" guidelines. While I have more general knowledge on the subjects of pet care as well as introverts and extraverts, I plan to do more research on these things moving forward to make the central message of the PSA more apparent. The reason behind why I am making this comparison is because people are often compared to animals, like with extraverts being labeled as "dog people" and introverts being associated with the behavior of cats. I plan to develop this idea as I move forward with the project. Below are a few images that I have complied that I want to use as inspiration for this PSA.

First, I wanted to use this color palette. The colors seem warm and comforting, and they could represent an ideal mood/environment in the PSA. I could contrast these with darker, more saturated colors to represent the extravert interrupting that peace.

Next, I want the illustrations of the characters to be more simplified. That way, I can animate them easier and focus more on their movements and the environment that I create. I also want the text to be more present and emphasize the audio. I can make it handwritten, or look handwritten, and possibly make the narrator an unseen character.

Finally, going along with the idea of handwritten text, I want the line work to be on the rougher side. This will create a more hand-drawn feel to the animation, like it is an informal guide rather than a more formal one.
