Eye-Catching Motion Design

While I was binging YouTube videos one evening, I found a music video that was interesting. The link to said video is shown below as well as a screenshot.

Both the visual style of the video as well as the lyrics remind me of Dada art. The rough cut-outs of the videos and images, the intentionally choppy animations, and the collages emphasize the lyrics that are best described as coherent nonsense. Although there are a lot of elements at work throughout the video, the effect would be fairly simple to reproduce. The choppiness allows for more mistakes with cropping out the images and the animations are relatively simple.
