Time to Build: 2 hours

Time to Animate: 1.5 hours

Problems encountered: I had a few problems when animating this one. First, when I moved certain parts of my clay character, they would almost break off completely. I just tried to smooth over the pieces and hope for the best. The second problem was that I had a hard time keeping track of every movement that needed to be animated and at what points.

Aha moment: To solve the second problem, I found that taking multiple pictures with different poses for the same frames helped. It was almost like having multiple takes, but all in the same filming session. By taking multiple different pictures, I was able to chose which frame suited the character's movements more and not stress about having to backtrack on the pictures.

If I animated this again I would: animate the character at a slight angle so that the camera could fully see at least one eye. The way it is right now, the character's blink are a little lost due to them being on the sides of the character's head and the camera not having a clear view.
